Our clinic

After the destruction of the building by the Nazis, the polyclinic of the State University of TMA resumed its work almost from the first months of the war. For some time, the clinic was based on the premises of the hospital of the State University of Medical Sciences, which created unfavorable conditions for both doctors and patients due to the lack of space.

Thanks to the efforts of the management of the TMA, on 29 May 2023, the clinic changed its location and started working at 4 Marshal Malynovskoho Street on the premises of the former maternity hospital No. 5 (entrance from the courtyard to the 2nd floor).

General practitioners, pediatricians, neurologists, gastroenterologists, otolaryngologists, surgeons, ophthalmologists, gynecologists, urologists, dermatologists, traumatologists, and ultrasound doctors are now available to see patients. Electronic appointments with the clinic's doctors have been restored. We continue the practice of consulting patients at home.

Paraclinical examinations are carried out in full: clinical blood and urine tests, biochemical tests, electrocardiography, rheoencephalography, electroencephalography, Holter cardiac monitoring, and X-ray examinations of the bone system and musculoskeletal system.

A new method of diagnosing hearing aid disorders, audiometry, has been introduced, which provides a wide range of opportunities to recognize types of hearing impairment and determine the degree of hearing loss. This, in turn, enables timely and pathogenetically sound treatment of the detected pathology.

We continue to conduct examinations of the chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, brain, bones, and soft tissues using a modern 160-slice computer tomograph "Aguilion", which significantly expands the diagnostic capabilities of detecting diseases at early stages.

Vaccination and revaccination of persons from the TMA attached to the clinic continue to be carried out to serve the contingent. Vaccination is carried out not only to prevent coronavirus infection caused by the COVID-19 virus, but also to prevent tetanus, diphtheria, hepatitis B virus, and influenza.

Certain groups of people from the contingent served by the clinic are not left without attention: participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chornobyl accident, pensioners and their families, as well as family members of police officers and police officers who died in the line of duty.

All privileged categories of the population entitled to receive medicines on a free prescription can visit the doctors of the outpatient clinic of the State Medical University and receive appropriate prescriptions for medicines prescribed by the attending physician, including electronic prescriptions for antibiotics (as prescribed by a doctor) and tranquilizers.
