As a result of recent events in Ukraine, changes are taking place that have led to a reassessment of values, breaking stereotypes, and loss of meaning in life for military personnel. The number of people in the security forces and law enforcement agencies has increased, with a sense of acute personal crisis related to the discrediting of old values, and the uncertainty of career, material, social and moral prospects. This is evidenced by the number of suicides among various categories of military personnel.

Mental health experts made presentations to the seminar participants, disclosing information about this phenomenon, its causes, and its symptoms. Today, we are focusing on suicide prevention and urgent crisis psychological assistance to servicemen in case of such a need. Prevention of suicidal phenomena is complex and can only be solved through the joint efforts of doctors, psychologists, social workers, commanders of all levels, and officers of educational structures.
