Training in the use of emotional and volitional mobilization techniques

The topic of self-regulation of the emotional and volitional state is quite relevant. Self-regulation of emotions and will is one of the important functions of the human psyche. The manifestation of certain emotions is an indicator of personality development. Therefore, the ability to regulate and control one's emotional and volitional state greatly facilitates the process of learning and achieving goals.

Mental self-regulation is carried out in a combination of its energetic, dynamic, and social aspects. A person does not automatically switch from one activity to another, but consciously, takes into account the social situation, the importance of the operations performed, the possible results of their actions, etc. The process of emotional and volitional self-regulation is based on three main principles: relaxation; visualization; and self-hypnosis.

The comprehensive application of these methods of emotional and volitional self-regulation by servicemen during actions in extreme conditions that cause mental stress allows them to
- calm down
- relieve or ease tension and have a quick rest;
- relieve or relax stress, nervous fatigue, and emotional tension;

- independently regulate blood circulation, heart rate, and breathing;
- fight pain;
- activate mental and physical functions of the body;

- to know oneself deeply;
- overcome internal tension and act purposefully in difficult combat conditions;
- constantly self-monitor the performance of the task, and concentrate volitional efforts on active and decisive actions.

Thus, the ability to effectively use the possibilities of various methods and means of psychological hardening of soldiers and a creative approach to its organization is the duty of every soldier and a prerequisite for their successful actions in combat.
