Group lesson "Methods and techniques of self-help for typical reactions in a stressful situation"

Stress is an important part of everyone's life. It helps to mobilize physical and mental resources to overcome the challenges that come our way. We experience stress every day and it does not harm us until its strength and duration exceed our individual limits of stress tolerance.

When we are exposed to high and/or prolonged stress, our bodies and minds become exhausted and need to recover. When recovery does not occur, the processes of overwork, burnout, and illness begin.

The result of stress overload can be both physical illnesses (chronic diseases, colds, migraines, etc.) and psychological illnesses (depression, PTSD, panic attacks, etc.). Therefore, it is very important to learn how to regulate your stress level within your ability to withstand it, recover from stress exhaustion, and seek professional help if you are unable to cope with the effects of severe or prolonged stress on your own.
