The elements of war have a significant impact on the personality of military personnel. One of its significant consequences is combat stress, which has a powerful psychotraumatizing effect on soldiers and is the main cause of combat-related mental trauma, acute stress, and post-traumatic stress disorders. Combat stress is accompanied by stressors that threaten the lives of servicemen and adversely affect their health, reduce the success of activities or lead to their disruption, and cause psychogenic losses in units.
Today's conditions require organizing and conducting psychoprophylactic work with all categories of military personnel to increase their resourcefulness, stress management training, etc. Among the many existing methods, practical psychologists of the Center for PD and PEP use the following: autogenous training; various relaxation methods; biofeedback systems; breathing exercises; inclusion of positive emotions in a person's life; music.
