The activities of representatives of law enforcement agencies and law enforcement bodies are carried out in a rather tense environment and are significantly complicated in the event of various kinds of extreme situations. The difficult situation, in this case, is characterized by special conditions that threaten life and health, combined with increased mental and physical stress. Such stresses provoke stressful conditions, and often these conditions turn into stress disorders.

Today, it is obvious that the system of psychological measures aimed at preventing (reducing) the negative effects of occupational stress, which includes consideration of individual, personal, organizational, and managerial factors, is not a tribute to fashion, but an urgent, primary necessity.

Practical psychologists of the Center for PD and PEP conducted a group lesson and compiled a booklet on "Methods and techniques of self-help and assistance to servicemen in case of typical reactions in stressful situations."
