Group training on the topic: "Types of negative mental states and ways to overcome their consequences"

The events that have been taking place in Ukraine lately, necessitate the need to increase the attention of psychologists to work with negative mental states in servicemen due to the impact of extreme factors of combat activity.

Mental states that adversely affect the performance of various activities most often include stress, nervousness, mental tension, fatigue, depression, anxiety, helplessness, etc.

As a rule, most experts associate negative mental states with the concept of stress, which worsens mental and physical health. The ability to overcome stress is important for a person's full life. Coping refers to the changing mental and behavioral efforts with which a person responds to the demands of stress. Effective ways of coping can be considered those that lead to the adaptation of the individual to the environment, and the development of new resources and behavioral strategies.

Psychologists of the Center for PPD and PPV regularly conduct group psychological training with a fixed contingent in order to develop new skills and resources to successfully overcome the consequences of negative mental states.
