Metaphorical associative cards are a psychologist's tool that helps to penetrate into the subconscious of a person. These cards are called metaphorical-associative because each drawing is an association or metaphor of thoughts, feelings, memories, or experiences. The images presented on them become a metaphor for our values, fears, and desires or are associated with our inner experience. There are different types of IAC decks depending on the request and issues, from resource and crisis to highly specialized sets. Depending on the needs of the person, techniques are individually selected, maximizing the effect of the psychologist's work.
